Provisional Route for 2010 MSA Euroclassic

The Provisional Route for the 2010 MSA Euroclassic has been announced.

Starting from the Nordschleife circuit at the Nurburgring in Germany, it takes us through Germany into the Czech Republic, stopping in Prague,  before continuing on through Austria, northern Italy before finishing at Lucerne, Switzerland.

We were hoping to announce full details before Christmas, but unfortunately, there has been some delay in receiving confirmations from key venues.  So rather than issue information that has yet to be confirmed, we have postponed the launch until early in the New Year. We are certain that it will be worth the wait!

We have currently (24th December) received 62 pre-launch deposits for the 2010 event.

The MSA Euroclassic is a non-competitive, scenic tour across Europe for classic cars built before 31st December 1989. There are no timings or penalties for not following the supplied route and participants are free to travel at their own pace. The route will contain a number of check points which will be open for a specified period. The MSA Euroclassic is an exclusive and elite event, limited to an entry of approximately 100 classic cars, and has become one of the best loved annual European classic events.

This website keeps participants as up to date as possible with news relating to the event as well as providing an archive of anecdotes, photos and route information from previous tours.

A number of Euroclassic participants have written up their adventures on previous runs for club magazines and some of these are reproduced here. Click on the relevant date button to be directed to the article. Because of the size of these they do not normally show on the web page itself and you will need to click on the button at the base of the page to download a PDF of the full article.

There are also picture Galleries for the 2006, 20072008 and 2009 runs containing photographs taken by participants, volunteer marshals and the team photographer.
